July, 2002 — MSI Magazine cited Metreo on their list of "Up-and-comers" as one of the emerging companies in the manufacturing software space. Metreo was the only company in the profit optimization category to be recognized by the publication. Joining Metreo on the list were other high profile software companies such as E2open, Informatica, and SeeCommerce. The list was compiled by the magazine's editorial board, which also announced the Top 100 public companies delivering software in the manufacturing space.
